From job recruiters to that cute barista you met at a coffee shop last week, people are constantly relying on our online profiles to convey a sense of who we are.
Knowing this, we try so hard to show how perfect our lives are that we can come off as “fake” or impersonal. Or, worst of all, we all start looking the same. With our efforts to appeal to everyone, we lose the very thing that makes us approachable and relatable—our humanity.
